A Beautifully Modern Celebration at MOCA | Ashley & Allen’s Wedding in Virginia Beach

Ashley and Allen’s wedding at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) was the perfect blend of modern elegance and heartfelt moments. Set against MOCA’s clean architectural lines and lush outdoor space, their day radiated style and sophistication. From start to finish, their wedding was not only visually striking but also deeply personal.

A Stylish Ceremony at MOCA

The couple said their vows in MOCA’s elegant outdoor garden. Surrounded by family and friends, Ashley and Alle exchanged rings under a clear sky. The light breeze and soft natural lighting made it ideal for capturing intimate portraits. Their ceremony was filled with laughter, love, and the kind of authentic emotion that makes every image feel timeless.

Artistic Portraits in a Contemporary Setting

Following the ceremony, we took advantage of the museum’s artful backdrops and sculptural elements to create portraits that were as striking as they were meaningful. The mix of natural and architectural features at MOCA gave their photos a clean, modern aesthetic. Their deep connection was obvious in every frame, and their easy affection made photographing them a breeze.

A Reception Full of Joy and Energy

Inside the reception hall, the celebration came alive. From tearful toasts to a packed dance floor, the energy never waned. Soft uplighting and thoughtful décor choices made the room glow, and their guests kept the good vibes going all night. One of the most memorable parts of the evening was their choreographed first dance – effortless, expressive, and totally them.

A Joyous Start to a New Chapter

Ashley and Allen’s wedding at MOCA was more than just a beautiful day – it was the start of a new chapter surrounded by love and support. Their calm presence, shared laughter, and modern style made this wedding one of my favorites to capture.
