Personal Note

This session was really special for me because I first worked with Jen exactly 7 years (minus one day) before these family portraits. Back in 2007, she came to Virginia Beach and had a big family portrait session with me. Well, as time passed Jen had a baby girl, and as she got older she began to ask why she wasn’t in the big family portrait at home. There’s nothing like a child to help set your affairs in order, so Jen decided to plan another session with me on her return trip to Virginia Beach. It was so good to work with them again and I love the new pictures we captured during their session. As for the picture that needed to be updated, well they selected the same background (the one with the beach and water) so that there would be some consistency in terms of how the picture looked in their home.
