Women’s Club of Portsmouth
Originally built in 1929, the Woman’s Club of Portsmouth is a stunning and classic wedding venue in the heart of Southeastern Virginia. Vaulted ceilings, original hardwood floors, and an abundance of natural light are just a few things that draw couples seeking an intimate, yet charming wedding, to the Woman’s Club of Portsmouth.
The main ballroom, which can host up to 250 guests, can be used for both your ceremony and reception. For those hoping for an outdoor ceremony, there is a large outdoor deck with a pergola, that is surrounded by well maintained grounds and mature shrubs that give you a private and serene location to say “I do “. The covered front porch is equipped with lighting, fans, and a gas fireplace, making it the perfect place for cocktail hour during any season.
Proceeds from the Woman’s Club of Portsmouth are used by the Portsmouth Service League to serve and give back to the Hampton Roads Community.
